The Loom of light

This installation is a representation of community, diversity, and coexistence.Inside this magical and intimate tent-looking space visitors will discover a little table with 3 items, dates representing kindness, Arabic coffee pot, a symbol of hospitality, and bread, a testament to the sharing of livelihood. This art installation is an invitation to embrace inclusivity, open doors, and extend open hands to those in search of community and support. Each pattern is a tribute to the richness of our collective fabric, representing different places, nationalities, backgrounds, and perspectives. Standing inside the tent also evokes the nostalgic magic and pure joy of childhood forts built with my sister from blankets and couches. Emulating the natural world's diversity, the artwork symbolizes how varied life forms unite to create a harmonious flow. It also reminds us that "home" can transcend geographical borders if we find a community to support & accept us.
